Using Yahoo! Calendar

Ever forgot a good friend's birthday? Or showed up 45 minutes late for the dentist? Fortunately, relief is here. Because to help you keep on top of your schedule and events, we've brought the convenience and organization of Yahoo! Calendar right to Yahoo! Messenger.
Get real-time reminders in Yahoo! Messenger.
It's easy. Just enter appointments and events in your Yahoo! Calendar. Then through Yahoo! Messenger, we'll alert you when the time comes.
You can be notified with a sound of your choice, a pop-up reminder, or a subtle calendar icon in your system tray. You decide. Simply choose to be reminded via Messenger when you create your event in Yahoo! Calendar.
To start receiving calendar reminders in Messenger, go to your Messenger menu and select "Preferences", then "Alerts & Sounds". Then choose how you want to be alerted.
Add the Yahoo! Calendar Plug-in and get organized.
To see your schedule right in Yahoo! Messenger, just add the free Yahoo! Calendar plug-in. It lets you view, schedule and edit your events without leaving Messenger.
You can even use the plug-in to drag-and-drop a friend's schedule next to yours, and find the perfect time to connect. Plus use the handy Find Meeting Place feature to look up restaurants or other meeting spots on Yahoo! Local.
