You start, we finish. It's that easy

Just start typing a contact's name, phone number, or Yahoo! ID into the Contact Search Bar, and we'll do the rest - showing you a list of ways to connect with that person depending on what information you have in your Address Book.

Also start web searches from your Contact Search Bar

Here's a time-saving tip. Instead of hopping over to your browser to search the web, make it happen right from Yahoo! Messenger. Simply type what you're searching for in the Contact Search Bar, then use the pull-down menu to select the Search the Web option. Your results will pop right up.

Type a Yahoo! ID
Your choices automatically appear. As you type, use the pulldown menu in the Contact Search Bar to pick exactly what you want to do. Choose to send a simple IM, call their PC or phone, send a text message to their mobile phone, search the web, or send an email. Once you select an option, you'll automatically begin the communication at hand.
